En una cordial reunión sostenida este lunes en las dependencias del Servicio Nacional de Aduanas, el presidente de la Asociación Nacional de Agentes de Nave (ASONAVE AG), GonzaloFernández, acompañado del vicepresidente ejecutivo, Claudio Morales, entregó un saludo protocolar a la Directora del Servicio Nacional de Aduanas, Alejandra Arriaza Loeb.
El encuentro tuvo como objetivo presentar a la autoridad al nuevo presidente de ASONAVE y reafirmar la disposición del gremio para seguir colaborando estrechamente con Aduanas en materias clave para la actividad naviera y el comercio marítimo nacional.
Durante la conversación, se abordaron temas relevantes como la Ventanilla Única Marítima (VUMAR) y la importancia de reactivar la Mesa de Manifiesto Marítimo, instancia de trabajo interinstitucional clave para la modernización y eficiencia de los procesos de comercio exterior.
El presidente de ASONAVE destacó “la voluntad del gremio de aportar con propuestas y experiencia del sector para seguir impulsando la digitalización y facilitación de los trámites marítimos, en beneficio de toda la cadena logística y portuaria del país”.
La reunión marca el inicio de una agenda de trabajo que busca consolidar avances en innovación, digitalización y coordinación entre la autoridad aduanera y la industria naviera.

ASONAVE introduces its new President in a meeting with the Director of the National Customs Service
In a cordial meeting held this Monday at the offices of the National Customs Service, the President of the National Association of Shipping Agents (ASONAVE AG), Gonzalo Fernández, accompanied by Executive Vice-President Claudio Morales, paid an official courtesy visit to the Director of the National Customs Service, Alejandra Arriaza Loeb.
The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the new President of ASONAVE to the authority and to reaffirm the association’s commitment to continue working closely with Customs on key matters for the shipping industry and national maritime trade.
During the conversation, important issues were addressed, such as the Single Maritime Window (VUMAR) and the need to reactivate the Maritime Manifest Committee, an inter-institutional working group essential for the modernisation and efficiency of foreign trade processes.
ASONAVE’s President highlighted “the association’s willingness to contribute proposals and sector expertise to continue driving the digitalisation and facilitation of maritime procedures, for the benefit of the entire logistics and port chain of the country.”
The meeting marks the beginning of a work agenda aimed at consolidating progress in innovation, digitalisation and coordination between the customs authority and the shipping industry.
